I had the surgery last Friday and got my stitches removed today, the following Thursday.

Believing that nothing changes one's impression as much as double eyelids do, I didn't want my eye shape to change. So, I always just contemplated ptosis correction and upper blepharoplasty without ever going through with them. Recently, I happened to learn about the sub-brow lift by chance, and although my skin is prone to scarring, I found out that the director pays special attention to scars, so I got the surgery right after the consultation.

Although my eyes are on the larger side, I always opened my eyes using my forehead, which made my eyebrows droop into an inverted-V shape (first photo). I was also starting to worry about forehead wrinkles and personally felt my eyelids gradually sagging, so I decided to go for it. But right after the surgery, my eyes opened brightly and clearly, and my eyebrows barely lift anymore. The surgery was done meticulously to align well with the eyebrow line, so I barely have any worries about scarring.

Outwardly, there might not be a huge difference in my impression, but opening my eyes has become extremely comfortable for me. Right after the surgery, the degree to which the eyelid pressed down on the eyelashes was significantly reduced, so I think they will look even prettier once the swelling goes down. It definitely seems like a great gift surgery for parents.

Thank you..!

It's only been a week, so there is still swelling and bruising on the eyelids. I'll check back again once the bruising and swelling go down.
