[mdtoday = Reporter Choi Min-seok] SH Plastic Surgery announced on the 5th that it has introduced the high-frequency lifting device 'Thermage FLX'.
The core of Thermage FLX is that it delivers thermal energy to the dermal and fibrous septa layers to induce collagen regeneration and improve skin elasticity. Since Thermage FLX can help improve reduced skin elasticity, fine lines, and skin sagging without surgery, middle-aged plastic surgery patients in the moderate stage of aging can expect improvement effects from a standalone procedure.
SH Plastic Surgery plans to utilize Thermage FLX not merely as a simple lifting procedure, but as an integrated anti-aging management tool that considers the pre- and post-operative processes of middle-aged plastic surgeries—including facelifts, non-incisional facelifts, upper/lower blepharoplasties, mid-face lifts, sub-brow lifts, and under-eye fat repositioning.
Director Kim Seong-hoon added, "Thermage is a device with sufficient value on its own, but for some middle-aged patients, the procedure alone is best, while for others, the best results are achieved when combined with surgery. The important thing is not the equipment, but making the right choice tailored to the patient in middle-aged plastic surgery."
The clinic stated that because aging beyond middle age is a continuously changing process rather than a static one, middle-aged plastic surgery must also evolve without stopping, and that the introduction of Thermage FLX is a decision made as an extension of diverse research and clinical experience.
Director Kim said, "What is important is knowing why, when, and on which patient the equipment should be used. Moving forward, we will continue to build our medical system based on better results and a safer environment for middle-aged plastic surgery patients, rather than trends or marketing."
